Heart Health
At this FREE (1-Day - 2-Hour) Virtual Goup Workshop, participants will gain a greater understanding of the components of heart health management and helpful types of diet profiles such as Mediterranean diet. In this FREE In-Person (1-Day - 2-Hour) Group Workshop you will learn how to prepare quick nutritious meals, eat healthy on a budget or for time constraints, read food labels and learn more about whole grains. Provide cooking, shopping and grocery ideas. This FREE (10-Week - 2-Hour) Virtual Group Program focuses on assisting clients engage in mindfulness practices, and other skills using the six therapeutic processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Clients learn skills in managing and coping with difficult experiences, painful thoughts, emotions and feelings. This group can be helpful for individuals experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, anger, and burnout.
The group will run from January 21 to March 25, 2026 every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
An assessment will be completed prior to the group by one of the facilitators to ensure that you are a good fit for the group.

Monthly Information Night - Introduction to Problem Gambling
This FREE Interactive (1-Day - 2-Hour) Virtual Group Workshop will provide an overview of gambling in Ontario, identify the signs of problem gambling and resources for problem gamblers and those in their lives. Monthly Information Session - Dysphagia
This interactive free (2 hour) virtual workshop will provide information about dysphagia. Chewing and swallowing difficulty is very common in seniors. This information session will discuss possible causes of dysphagia, signs and symptoms of dysphagia, potential risks of dysphagia. Seasonal Affective Disorder Workshop
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a free (2-hour) online workshop which is run once a year in early November, as many people experience a seasonal onset of depression around this time of the year.

Taste and Learn
In this in person 2 hour workshop you will learn how to prepare quick nutritious meals, eat healthy on a budget or for time constraints, read food labels and learn more about whole grains. Provide cooking, shopping and grocery ideas. Gain practical experience by going on a virtual grocery store tour with a dietitian where product comparisons are made and individual recommendations are discussed. Heart Health
This is a two hour virtual workshop where participants will gain a greater understanding of the components of heart health management and helpful types of diet profiles such as Mediterranean diet. Facilitators will also teach you how to manage your high cholesterol, high triglycerides, high blood pressure or heart disease or prevent heart disease. Sleep Workshop
This Sleep Workshop is a free two-hour online workshop. The workshop helps to understand the contributing factors of insomnia. It focuses on exploring the varying sleep – wake schedule, daytime napping and excessive time spend in bed.
